Open to the public Tuesdays through Fridays 11am to 4pm. Grounds are CLOSED on public holidays. It is one of City of Oakland's finest historic sites located in a secluded crescent-shaped valley near the southeastern city limits. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, State Register, and is protected on the local level by being designated as a City Landmark.
FILMING, STILL PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND ADVERTISING PRODUCTION
The Estate grounds are available for commercial filming, photography, equipment storage, and video and advertising production.
There is a fee and an application process involved. Please call the office to schedule.
If filming or planning a video production, please note that such applications require Film Commission approval in writing.
